Getting a price for anything not listed

  1. Check the label

The type (CO2, dry powder, water, foam or wet chemical) and the size in kg or litres are printed on the extinguisher. Buying new? See the extinguishers we supply, or our guide to extinguisher types if you're not sure which one you need.

  2. Send us the details

WhatsApp us or call us with the type, size and number of extinguishers, whether you want new ones or a refill, and your town. A photo of the label is fine.

  3. Get the price first

We give you the price before any work starts, so you know what it costs before you decide.

What changes the price

What changesWhy it matters
TypeCO2, dry powder (ABC), water, foam and wet chemical extinguishers are built differently and hold different contents, so each is priced on its own.
SizeA 2 kg and a 5 kg CO2 extinguisher are different products. A bigger extinguisher holds more, so it usually costs more to buy and to refill.
New or refillA refill reuses the cylinder you already have: you pay for refilling and servicing it, not for a whole new extinguisher. More about refilling.
ConditionA dented or badly rusted cylinder may not be safe to refill, and salt air near the sea speeds up rust. If we find yours should be replaced rather than refilled, we tell you before going ahead.
Number of unitsTell us how many you need, so we can price the whole job in one go.
LocationTravel to remote places can add to the price. If it does, it is part of the price we give you before any work starts.

Price questions

How much is a CO2 fire extinguisher in Sri Lanka?

It depends on the size. A new 2 kg CO2 extinguisher from us is Rs 11,500 (price on 23 October 2026). Online sellers in Sri Lanka listed 2 kg CO2 at Rs 11,990 to Rs 13,750 (checked 26 October 2026). For other sizes, tell us what you need and we'll give you a price.

How much does a fire extinguisher refill cost?

We haven't published refill prices yet, because they depend on the type and size. Send us both, and how many extinguishers you have, and we'll give you the price before any work starts.

Why do prices differ between sellers?

Listings that look alike often aren't the same thing. Check the size ("CO2 extinguisher" can mean 2 kg or 5 kg), the brand and where it was made, whether it is actually in stock, and whether delivery or mounting is included.

Can I refill my extinguisher instead of buying a new one?

Usually, yes, if the cylinder is in good condition. Any extinguisher should be refilled straight after use, even partial use. If the cylinder is damaged or badly rusted, it may need replacing instead. Tell us what you have and we'll tell you which, with the price.
