Terms of use for this website
These terms cover your use of safezonefire.lk, the website of SafeZone Fire Company in Galle. Our pages are general fire safety guidance, and the price for any job is the one on your written quotation or invoice.
We are not an emergency service
SafeZone Fire Company is a private fire-safety business, not the fire brigade. If a fire is spreading, get everyone out and call 110, Sri Lanka's emergency number for fire. Don't call or message us first.

Our pages are general guidance
Our pages explain extinguisher types, servicing and training in general terms. They are not a fire risk assessment of your home, shop, hotel or factory. The right types, sizes and number of extinguishers depend on the building, what is stored and done there, and who uses it. For advice on your own premises, ask us about a consultation and site visit.
- Follow the manufacturer's instructions. Each extinguisher's label says how to use, check and store it. If a page on this site and the label disagree, follow the label.
- Follow your local authority's requirements. Fire certificates are issued by the local authority fire service or the UDA, not by us, and each council sets its own rules. Ask your council's fire service what applies to your building.
- Servicing intervals we quote come from international codes, mainly BS 5306-3 (UK) and NFPA 10 (US). They are not Sri Lankan law. Our maintenance schedule explains them.
- SLTDA requirements we describe come from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority's published documents, as we read them in October 2026. SLTDA can change them, so check with SLTDA before you rely on them.
We update our pages when we learn of a change, and most pages show the date they were last updated. Rules and products do change, so we can't promise that every page is complete and current on the day you read it.
Prices, stock and quotations
Prices on this site are shown with the date we confirmed them. Prices and availability can change after that date, and a price on a web page is not an offer to sell at that price. Our confirmed prices are on the prices page; for anything else, ask us.
We confirm it in writing
We tell you the price before any work starts, and confirm every job with a written quotation or invoice listing each item and its price.
That document is what counts
The written quotation or invoice for your job sets the price and what is included. If it differs from this website, the quotation or invoice applies.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to other websites, such as other sellers' price lists or government websites. These links are there for your convenience. We don't run those sites and aren't responsible for their content, their prices or how they handle your details. A link is not a recommendation of that seller or its products.
Our content and name
Unless a page says otherwise, the text, images, logo and design of this website are © SafeZone Fire Company. You are welcome to share a link to any page, or print a page for your own use. Please ask us before copying our pages to another website or printed material, or using our name or logo in a way that suggests we work with you.
How we handle the details you send us is explained in our privacy notice.
Sri Lankan law applies
These terms, and any question about this website, are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Nothing in them takes away any right you have under Sri Lankan consumer law. If something isn't right, please tell us first: most problems are easier to sort out with a conversation.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the website or our services change. The date below shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
